Ambo Mineral water S.C wants to fill the following vacant position.
POSITION: Packaging Engineer
PLANT/ Work Place: AMBO /SENKELE
GRADE: K
Salary: Negotiable
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To co-ordinate, coach and control the activities of the level one maintenance teams in the production environment and to provide specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability:
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Min - Engineer (mech/EIec)with Diploma in packaging (IBD)
Ideal- Mechanical Engineer with Diploma in packaging (IBD) Additional business qualification.
Legal: Registered Engineer
Training: Min- Complete Engineering Traineeship or Diploma in packaging plus 3 months on the Job training.
Ideal- Diploma in packaging plus 6 months on the job training.
Experience: 1 Year - 2 years as a Maintenance planner/ controller
IDEAL PROFILE
BSc Engineering degree- Mechanical or Electrical.
Prior experience in a leadership position, within the FMCG environment.
Knowledge of Manufacturing way strategies and initiatives.
Good Knowledge of Packaging production processes and technologies
Familiarity with maintenance systems e.g COSWIN
Proven leadership skills.
Analytical problem solver
Influencing ability with regards to Sound Maintenance practices.
