PREAMBLE: Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development Commission (ECC-SDCO) is a nonprofit making organization, which executes the mandate given to it by the Catholic Bishops Conference of Ethiopia in the field of pastoral, social work, human development, welfare and relief works. It is the executive arm of Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Ethiopia.
1. Position: Accountant II (Re-advertised)
JOB SUMMARY: The position requires that the incumbent have an adequate knowledge and experience in accounting, computerized accounts and the ability to prepare payment, receipt, journal vouchers, reconcile bank accounts, and other works of the department. The incumbent will also be expected to file documents, review accounts, assist audits, prepare various types of financial reports and data entry report generation using computers.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: BA in Accounting with 3 years and above
SKILLS: Professional in Peachtree Accounting with relevant MS office applications
2. POSITION: Cashier
JOBSUMMARY: Manage petty cash fund, prepare vouchers and correspondences
EDUCATION: Diploma in Accounting or 10+3 as Junior Accountant
EXPERIENCE: 2 years for Diploma or 4 years for 10+3.
SKILLS: Computer MS Office Skill
Both Positions:-
AGE: 30-35
DUTY STATION: Addis Ababa
DURATION OF EMPLOYMENT: 1 year contract with possible renewal based on Performance
SALARY & BENEFITS: As per the salary scale of the organization. Benefits include medical, insurance, etc.
