Job Description:
    Planning, coordinating, implementing and controlling the procurement of agricultural commodities especially grains and legumes
    Identify major suppliers for grains and legumes and keep the data base
    Managing procurement of grains and legumes from ECX and non ECX sources
    Close follow up about the stock status and take the necessary action
    Keeping up to date information about agricultural commodities and their suppliers
    Conducting market analysis survey to understand the current market buying and selling price for agricultural commodities
    Making daily report to the counterpart and the concerned bodies about the daily purchase from ECX and other sources
    Develops new and existing vendor relationships.
    Travels to trade shows and vendor locations to develop a network of contacts, to stay informed on the business and competitor direction, and to source deals
    Develops a collaborative team atmosphere through an open exchange of ideas and positive feedback between production quality and other departments.
    Provides procurement and sourcing oversight for a diverse set of grain and legumes
    Achieves competitive price advantage through market intelligence.
    Works closely with plant personnel to streamline business processes and ensure vendor performance
    Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
    BA degree or above with Business management, Agri-business, Economics, Agriculture, Horticulture, food science and other related field of study
    At least 4 years work experience with purchasing or marketing and other related area
    Fluency with English language and excellent communication skill
    Excellent negotiation skill
    Able to work with team
    Proficiency with grain purchasing and contract management systems is an advantage.
    Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications required.
    Excellent organizational skills, communications skills, the ability to multi-task, and most importantly, the ability to work well in a team.
    Business secrecy is mandatory
