Job Description
DESA PLANTS PLC is a foreign investment company in the horticulture sector located in Ejersa, 9km from Modjo, 83 km from Addis Abeba. Our main activities are production and export of high quality cuttings to the European and USA market. Desa Plants employs 750 people. Our company is growing fast and expanding its markets hence we are recruiting additional staff members and have open vacancy in the position of:ACCOUNTANT
Duties and responsibilities:
Coding & posting accounting transactions, preparing reconciliations, making inventory evaluations, allocate cost of production input as per cost center, update fixed asset register, generating reports, arrange and follow up import and ensure imported goods are timely released, claim and participating on other administrative jobs.
Job Requirements
Work experience:
We recruit Senior as well as Junior accountants. At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of accounting (for senior accountant) and 1 year of relevant work experience (for junior accountant).
Minimum educational qualification:
BA Degree in Accounting, Economics or other related filed with two years (or above) work experience.
Skills:
Communicative: Fluent in both written and verbal English is a must
Computer skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a minimum requirement
