POSITION: Health Team Leader

REQUIRED No. 1
PREAMBLE: The Ethiopian Catholic Church Social and Development Commission (ECCSDCO) is a nonprofit making organization, which executes the mandate given to it by the Catholic Church Bishops’ Conference of Ethiopia and registered legally with the Charities and Societies Agency in the field of Social and Development activities of the Church for Integral Human Development. It is the executive arm of Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Ethiopia.

JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent will coordinates, facilitates, supervise & build capacities of the Diocesan Offices and Congregations Health Institutions. Plans, organizes and co-ordinates the planning, monitoring and evaluation activities and advise Catholic Health Institutions on issues related to human health. Reviews and analyses performance reports submitted by the diocesan offices and national office sector officers and prepare and compile reports related to human health.
Liaisons the Social and Development Commission of the Church with Federal MoH and Regional Health Bureaus.
EDUCATION: MD/MSc or BSc in Medicine, Public Health, Nursing or any other related field.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years and above for MD/MSc. or 11 years and above for BSc in relevant service after graduation.
SKILLS: In Leadership, Communication, Planning: Project Proposal & Report writing are mandatory
DUTY STATION: Addis Ababa
DURATION OF EMPLOYMENT: One year contract with possible renewal based on performance
SALARY & BENEFITS: As per the salary scale of the organization. Benefits include medical and insurance etc.
