POSITON: Plant Room Supervisor
JOB NUMBER: HOT02HGH
Responsible for directing and coordinating plant room section activities.
Ensure that plant room equipment, system operates in safe and proper way.
Maintain and perform Emergency & preventive maintenance of the plant room systems & Equipment.
Ensure that utility supply is sustained 24/7 to the operation.
Follow up on the work of previous shift.
Allocate duties to the appropriate staff.
Ensure that all works has been completed during his shift & hands over longer term work to the oncoming team.
Ensure professional and timely execution of all working & tasks that is within the scope of work.
Ensure that the workman ship standard meets expected quality level.
Implement the hotel’s health & Safe Systems of Work.
Ensure plant and equipment’s are operated in safe & proper way.
Play active role in the hotels emergency team.
Maintain a positive and friendly working environment.
Develop productive working relationships within the department as well as across the hotel.
Attend training sessions that are mandatory.
Identify training requirement of staff as required during the course.
Educational Requirement & Experience;
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical engineering.
Five years for diploma / three years for degree experience of Plant Room operation preferably in a hotel or a same environment such as ships, hospitals, or process based factory.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
Current knowledge of general maintenance, engineering work
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes
Strong work ethic
A passion for managing a variety of projects and tasks throughout the day
