Vacancy for Technology Salesperson
Mulu Technology is a fast growing software company located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We are building state-of-the-art software products based on years of software development experience in the US and Ethiopia. Our business is primarily focused on selling software to enterprise customers, consisting of companies and NGOs. Our goal is to become one of the most respected software companies in Ethiopia.
We are looking for an ambitious, outgoing and effective salesperson to grow our sales. The salesperson will be responsible for identifying, contacting, and dosing sales with enterprise customers. This will require strong work ethics, understanding the market, and persistence in closing sales. The measure of success for the position will be the number of deals closed per month and the sales person is expected to meet a progressive sales quota.
Essential Skills:
Strong background in technology sales
Confident, outgoing and friendly personality
Background in selling to enterprise executives (companies/NGOs)
Have strong relationships to companies and NGOs in Ethiopia
Educational background in business or information technology
Able to learn new technologies, and become an expert in presenting them to customers
Persistence in perusing clients and closing deals
Strong and effective phone conversation skills
Comfortable using email and web applications
Comfortable in written and oral English
Experience working on tenders and bids
Education and Experience:

At least 3 years’ experience working in technology sales meeting sales quota
A bachelor’s or advanced diploma in sales or information technology
